→ Sameer Rizvi, CFA

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

  • Sameer co-founded RD Capital Partners with his wife Iryna in the summer of 2015. He splits his time between capital allocation, deal origination and portfolio management. Sameer started his career in investment banking, working at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in London. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from McGill University in Canada. Sameer is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder. He was the youngest CFA in the history of the institute when he received the honour in 2015. Sameer has also been recognised on the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Finance list. Sameer is married to Iryna, and they are proud parents of four young children.

Founder & Chief Strategy Officer

  • Iryna co-founded RD Capital Partners with her husband Sameer in the summer of 2015. As Chief Strategy Officer, Iryna is the head of the investment committee and has final say on investment decisions. Prior to RDCP, Iryna worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London as an investment banker. She has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Kings College London (KCL) and a master’s degree in economics from University College London (UCL). Iryna is married to Sameer, and they are proud parents of four young children.

→ Martin O'Donoghue 

Chief Legal Officer

  • Martin joined RD Capital Partners in 2023 and leads all legal aspects at RDCP. He has over 20 years of legal experience, having advised clients on commercial transactions globally. Prior to RDCP, Martin was a Partner at Armstrong Teasdale. Martin also worked at Teacher Stern and Eversheds. He is consistently recognised by the Legal 500 for advising on M&A transactions. Martin studied Law at University College Dublin and is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Law Society of Ireland. Martin also has an MBA. 

→ Will Napier-Fenning

Chief Financial Officer

  • As Chief Financial Officer, Will leads the Group’s finance function and supports M&A due diligence. He has held senior finance roles at high-growth businesses including Kent Finance, Casual Dining Group, Acorn Care and AIM-listed CareTech PLC, and has completed over 100 transactions with an aggregate value exceeding £1bn. Will holds a degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London, is a Chartered Accountant, and began his career in audit at Kreston Reeves before moving into corporate finance at Hazlewoods.

→ Paul Clunn

Investment Director

  • Paul is an Investment Director at RDCP and CEO of RDCP Electrical, leading the Group’s industrials sector. Paul has over 25 years of leadership experience at blue-chip businesses including CEF, Rexel, Eland Cables and Cleveland Cable Company, and previously served for over five years in the Royal Navy. He holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Central Lancashire and an MBA from the University of Gloucestershire. 

→ Rosie Howell 

Investment Director

  • Rosie is an Investment Director at RDCP and Managing Director of RDCP Care, leading the Group’s healthcare investments and operations. She has worked closely with the founders since 2016 and brings over 30 years of care home management experience, having held senior roles at Embrace Care, Avery Healthcare and Restful Homes. Rosie holds an undergrad degree from Staffordshire University and is a qualified nurse.

→ Fuzail Ahmad

Investment Director

  • Fuzail is an Investment Director at RDCP in the USA, leading the Group’s healthcare investments and operations in the States. Fuzail is the founder of STAR Capital, R&R Care Operation, and an operator-led investor focused on acquiring and building durable, cash-flowing businesses in regulated and essential-service sectors. With deep experience in multi-site healthcare operations, he has led the ownership and operation of assisted living and residential care platforms across the Eastern United States. His investment philosophy combines disciplined acquisitions, hands-on operational oversight, and a long-term approach to value creation.

→ Vipin Patara

Investment Director

  • Vipin is an Investment Director at RDCP and Managing Director of RDCP Wholesale, leading the Group’s consumer staples sector. Vipin brings over 25 years of experience in wholesale, procurement and supply chain management, having held senior leadership roles at SOS Wholesale, The Soft Drinks Company, and Asiana. She is MCIPS qualified and has a background in buying, supplier negotiation and large-scale distribution operations. 

→ Jairo Castellanos

Head of Financial Management

  • Jairo is Head of Financial Management at RDCP, working closely with the CFO on financial planning and performance management across the portfolio. He brings strong experience from PE-backed businesses including Kent Finance, Casual Dining Group, Burger King and Soho House. Jairo qualified as an accountant in Spain, began his career in banking, and holds a Master’s degree from EUDE Business School.

→ Hoang Le Huu 

Finance Manager

  • Hoang Le is a Finance Manager at RDCP. Earlier in his career, Hoang gained six years of experience within accountancy practices. In previous roles, Hoang specialised in accountancy and tax planning for owner-managed businesses within the TV and media industry as well as qualifying as a Chartered Accountant within the Government & Public Sector audit team at Ernst & Young.  Hoang studied his undergraduate degree in Economics at University College London, and obtained a Masters degree in Economics for Business from the University of Northampton.

→ Hayley Spurr

Finance Manager

  • Hayley has gained 10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis within PE backed businesses. She servered as Commercial Finance Manager at NRS Healthcare where she supported NRS through significant growth and exit to second tier PE. Project lead for FP&A systems commissioning and implementation projects.  Having started her career in practice, Hayley qualified ACCA in industry.

→ Sarah Sharpe

Payroll Manager

  • Passionate about Payroll, Sarah has held a Payroll Management position for over 10 years as well as working in a HR capacity for over 20 years. Sarah has experience of system integration and project management and has studied for both CIPP and CIPD qualifications whilst developing her career.  Sarah is also the founder member of “Payroll Ninjas” a Facebook support group for payroll professionals with over 6000 members.

Finance Associate

  • Jaz has gained over 10 years’ experience in accounts payable and receivables. With great attention to detail, an adaptable and motivated attitude, she’s managed to implement processes to make our clients businesses run smoother and give a greater vision of overheads. During her career Jaz qualified in AAT.

→ Lisa Key  

Payroll Associate

  • An accomplished payroll associate with 14 years of experience in financial compliance.  Lisa started her finance career 14 years ago, as an accounts assistant working in accounts payable and accounts receivable for 5 years, moving into payroll 9 years ago and finding the job to progress and grow in. Her experience ensures that our payroll processes are efficient, accurate and kept in compliance with regulations.

Finance Associate

  • With over five years of experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable, Amber has worked in both the healthcare and automotive industries. This diverse background equips her with a strong understanding of financial processes and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.  Amber is currently studying AAT with a goal of becoming a Chartered Accountant.
